Stables, sport and animal care offer real work, yet few people from economically backward families get the chance to train for it. Our vocational programme gives them that chance.
Roles we train for
- Groom: daily horse care, feeding, grooming, safe handling and stable hygiene.
- Farrier: hoof care and shoeing, one of the most sought-after skills in the equestrian world.
- Stable manager: running a stable, planning feed and care, safety and record keeping.
- Trainer’s assistant: supporting riding and groundwork sessions.
- Para-equestrian support: helping participants with disabilities to ride and learn safely.
How training works
Trainees learn by doing, alongside qualified instructors, at our own stable and grounds.
Towards recognised qualifications
We are working towards partnerships with skill development bodies so that training leads to recognised certificates. We will name each partner here only when an agreement is signed.
Who can apply
People from economically backward families are especially welcome, and the programme is open to all irrespective of caste, creed, race, religion or language. Write to kingsequestrianfoundation@gmail.com or call 9980771166.
How our programmes connect
Our five areas work together, with horses as partners in each. Explore sport, relief for families, health and wellbeing, rehabilitation and skills and education and leadership, or read about our horses, careers with horses and our founder. To support the work, donate or partner through CSR.
