About Kingsequestrian Foundation

Kingsequestrian Foundation is a not-for-profit company based in Bengaluru. We bring sport, learning, health awareness and practical skills to children and youth from economically backward families, persons with disabilities and older people. Our partners in this work are horses, many of them rescued from public places or retired from racing, whom we rehabilitate, rehome and care for.

What we believe

Every person deserves a chance to take part, to learn and to be valued. A horse asks for patience, honesty and care, and those are good lessons for anyone. Time with horses helps people build confidence, responsibility, teamwork and skills.

Our purpose

Our objects, as set out in our Memorandum of Association, are to:

  • promote sport, especially among young people;
  • provide relief to the poor, irrespective of caste, creed, race, religion or language;
  • run programmes on health, education and sanitation and build public awareness;
  • support rehabilitation and care for persons with disabilities and older people, and vocational training;
  • support education, especially for economically backward students.

How we work

Our programmes run at our own stable and grounds in Bengaluru and Hosur, and they are open to all. Safety, consent and dignity come first, and we follow our safeguarding and data protection policies.

Accountability

We are a Section 8 company limited by guarantee (CIN U85300KA2022NPL164798). We hold 12A and 80G registrations and are registered to undertake CSR activities. Our accounts are audited every year, and our registrations are listed on the Transparency page.
